how can i select USB audio instead of default?
March 8th, 2009 | by Joe |I do not want to go out to a default audio adapter, I only want to send audio to USB audio adapter
Go into your Windows Control Panel. Double click on the Sounds and Audio Devices if you are in classic view. Category mode you have to click on the sounds, audio, video device settings first.
You will see an audio tab, click on it.
There will be a Default device heading, use the drop down box to select the USB device if it is setup correctly.
You cannot do this on the fly, so if you are trying to switch while in the middle of a program, it will continue to send it to the first device selected. You will have to exit and restart the game/program first.
