What version of Linux supports Wireless USB Adapters?

January 4th, 2009 | by Joe |

Is there a version of linux that EASILY supports usb wireless adapters?

I currently use ubuntu but in order to use wireless internet you have to wrap the usb adapter drivers and it seems very complicated.

I have a linksys wireless usb adapter and i really like linux but i need to get it to acces my wireless network.

Or if there is no version out there that does support usb adapters than can anyone point me to an easy way to wrap the drivers or at least get it to work.

You might check some of the ubuntu support forums. I'm using a wireless USB adaptor on my ubuntu desktop with no problems.
