Is there any adepter which convert HDMI to USB ?
January 12th, 2009 | by Joe |I have full HD 1080p plasma tv. But it doesn’t have any USB port. It has 3 HDMI port. How could I Connect my USB device with my Plasma. Is there any adepter which convert HDMI to USB or vice versa?
USB ports aren't meant to have audio or video data sent through them directly. There are a few video devices that can attach to USB ports, but in general USB ports lack to bandwidth for decent HD full motion video output. HDMI is designed to receive both digital video and audio signals that have already been processed by a video device, whereas USB ports are designed to attach peripheral devices and aren't meant to transmit raw data in the way that you are describing.
Long story short, there is no direct conversion between USB and HDMI ports…they are not even the same type of technology and are not directly compatible.

You’re wrong…there isn’t any HDMI out to USB In, but the reverse exists.
