Does the original ipod color (photo) work with the ’09 Honda Civic USB audio interface?

Yep, I’ve used my ipod photo on my sister’s ’09 Civic. You need the white apple USB cord (they one you use to put songs on it/ charge it) and that plugs into the female USB outlet in the center armrest.

It should work yes. I don’t agree with how third party manufacturers are creating plugs and ports and docks specifically designed for Apple products. I don’t own and Apple items and seeing a dock smack in the middle of a CD system puts me right off.
