I found out about the CWiid project, which consists of a library called libwiimote, a wminput application to make your Wiimote into a mouse, keyboard, or joystick, and wmgui, a Wiimote GUI. In this video, I only use wmgui, which isn’t that useful, but it shows the status and readout of the Wiimote data. The PC is running Ubuntu Linux 7.04 with the IOGear GBU221P USB Bluetooth Adapter (the blue glowy thing is a USB hub, my laptop only has one USB port, the Bluetooth adapter and my wireless mouse are plugged into it). The music is the end credits music from Twilight Princess (it’s from the Wii, at least, didn’t have anything better for background music). The camera takes a while to focus…that’s because it’s older than I am, I had to record directly through my PC TV card because recording to VHS-C would mean horrible tracking issues.

sites.google.com In this video I show you how to boot my recovery USB by changing the BIOS settings. The video shows how to do it on 3 different motherboards – Dell, Gigabyte, and ASUS. Your BIOS may be different, the video is just to give you some ideas on how to do it. If you’re not comftorable doing this kind of thing then don’t try it, there’s no risk you can break your system but BIOS settings are not something to toy with. Commonly, a PC will show a message like ‘Press Del to enter Setup’ to indicate that you need to press the ‘Del’ key. Some AMI BIOS require you to enable the …

ZynAddSubFX is a open source software synthesizer capable of making a countless number of instruments, from some common heard from expensive hardware to interesting sounds that you’ll boost to an amazing universe of sounds. I also show Hydrogen working with the Midi device. JACK Audio Connection Kit is a professional sound server daemon that provides real-time, low latency connections for both audio and MIDI data between applications that implement its API. I play my MELIDI Mc37 Musical Keyboard instrument which is connected to a AMD Sempron 3000+ PC running UbuntuStudio 10.04 Lucid Lynx to make music while recording the video with my Canon FS200 Digital Camera.
