Is there a USB to ethernet adapater?
Right now, if I want to print from my computer upstairs, the computer donwstairs which is connected to the printer has to be turned on.
Generally speaking no, you can't connect a device that isn't network aware (i.e. one that doesn't have an ethernet port) ...

I have a Verizon USB Aircard, which lets me access Verizon's BroadbandAccess network. If I can somehow get a female USB-iPod adapter, can I use the Aircard with an iPod Touch?
i can't positively say its impossible, but i can say it is highly unlikely.
